ABS/PMMA and PS sheet manufacturer MP3 s.r.l. in Italy is converting its lines for the use of thermoplastic regrind and successively replacing the existing filters with SFXmagnus melt filtration systems. Thanks to the changes, production now runs trouble-free even with over 50% regrind.

PE-Inhouse Recycling
Oldenburg is a manufacturer of PE packaging film such as bubble film, stretch and foam sheet. The film waste which occurs during start up, shut down, product changes etc. is collected and repelletised on a central recycling extruder. Trouble-free melt filtration
If in-house production waste and heavily contaminated post-consumer waste are added to the production process, foreign particles of various sizes and quantities are introduced into the melt flow. The European Union has drawn up legal directives which stipulate that by December 31, 2025 50 % of plastic packaging placed on the market in an EU member state must be recycled.
